Daily Duties at Department Of Human Services :

• Planned and directed implementation projects (Price2), ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with acceptable quality interfacing and management. • Progressively managed the ongoing administration, maintenance and support of ISSU systems solutions (Prince2). • Assisted in the development of a consistent IS environment for MHACS, including the progressive integration of existing systems. Assimilated and reviewed existing frameworks, and identified and delivered redevelopments under strategic direction. • Consulted with internal and external stakeholders to analyze existing and proposed business processes, policies and information systems to identify problems and solutions. • Liaised with other technical groups to support Systems Testing, User Acceptance, and implementation of Information Systems. • Provided staff with relevant information and access to safe systems of work. Allocate roles and responsibilities, identified and took responsibility for consultation on local health and safety issues. Where relevant; managed and monitored the specific improvements in annual improvement plans relating to the area of responsibilities. • Provided technical leadership, including evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions and hands-on systems support, to the Information Systems & Solution Unit. • Contributed to the development of architectural standards and solutions relevant to information systems within Metropolitan Health & Aged Care Services Division. • Led and supported staff to reach their potential whilst maximizing their contribution to achieve their goals and outcomes. • Researched and developed concepts within an information management environment for the reporting of health information across the department. • Provided leadership in reconstruction of policies procedures and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of software delivery and end to end project management.
