Daily Duties at Concordia Intl Forwarding Corp:
Responsible for all office functions (sales, operations and warehouse) for the Dallas office covering a 5 state area. I was the primary contact for all international contacts. I negotiated rates with all the airlines and vendors (truck drivers, office supplies, cleaning companies, security coverage, etc). I also gave the final ok for any rate/service package sold to all clients (both domestic and international). I gave daily and monthly P&L reports to our HQ in New York. I was responsible for all on the job training in sales, operations and warehouse. I was the primary contact with the Homeland Security and Transportation Safety Administration with regards to regulation compliance. I hired and fired and approved all promotions in the DFW office. I was the primary problem solver for all client disputes. I maintained the attendance records and ensured all required daily/monthly reports were sent in a timely and professional manner. I was the primary contact with our HQ concerning local matters. I was the final responsibility for all aspects of the office.
