Daily Duties at Sony Ericsson Il:
• Conducting conformance tests in accordance to relevant standards (3GPP, ETSI, GCF) by usage of internal test and debugging tools (data logging on all protocol layers). • Implementation of RF tests using the Agilent 8960 test set. • Performing software tests evaluations including UI behavior, Web performance & support for multimedia standards. • Leading successful type approval projects for several cellular devices which positioned Sony Ericsson as the #1 brand in 3G mobile sells in Israel • created and defined timelines for product launch and major milestones • Accepted units from as early as engineering samples, Performed software testing and evaluation. • Reporting feedbacks to Sony Ericsson engineering departments. • Performed Quality Assurance tests on provided software fixes. • Collected feedbacks from operator engineering departments. • Align customer expectations with manufacturer abilities and limitations. • Managing of all relevant marketing activities such as, User manuals, quick guides, warranty labels and other legal mandatory requirements • Leading and managing HEBREW UI appearance by validating & changing UI labels which reflects directly on end user experience. • Supported other marketing activities such as trade shows events, Roadmap presentations, Marketing materials development and assessments. • Worked with the Israeli MOC (Ministry Of Communication) for carrying out local type approval to allow import of units into Israel. • Assisting 3rd party Java developers with aligning their applets to feet into Sony Ericsson devices
