Human Resources • Managed the entire recruitment process for junior clerical staff including advertising, interviewing, salary negotiation, and reference checks. • Facilitated hiring process for junior clerical staff by negotiating salaries and briefing new employees on company benefits, policies, and procedures. • Organized temporary staffing needs including obtaining personnel agency, negotiating rates and contracts, as well as training and overseeing of temporary employees. Administrative • Coordinated all arrangements for corporate travel, meetings, and conferences. • Maintained calendar for the Director. Attended various meetings on the Director's behalf. • Originated and produced memos, letters, bids, contracts, spreadsheets, presentation materials and other types of documentation. • Served as primary interface between clients and the Director by resolving customer problems and delegating responsibility to the appropriate individual. • Facilitated negotiations for vendor services by screening vendors, compiling information, and making recommendations to the Director. • Performed registrar functions for various courses that included recruitment of faculty (Doctors, Nurses, and Social Workers), establishment of location sites, catering, and course registration. • Initiated and constructed components of individual programs and courses. • Supervised junior clerical staff. Accounts Payable • Analyzed and monitored revenue and expenses to forecast, monthly revenues. • Assisted the Director in preparing projected budgets and grants for subsequent year. • Monitored general ledger and profit and loss statements; made necessary adjustments. • Maintained DataEase database by logging in checks received, invoices, and receipts. Account collection for past due accounts. • Processed payroll for administrative staff.
