Daily Duties at Samsung Semiconductor Inc:
Provide technical support for major OEM in Southern Ca and Mexico. Test, screen and provide first level FA on SATA and PATA hard drives. Gather pertinent data, detail reports to the Design and FA teams and follow through to corrective action. Process 8D reports and detail failure trends. Make recommendations to ODM’s on improving their process. Document DPPM and MRQ reports. Maintain lab equipment Computer Expertise Solaris, FileMaker Pro SCSI, WIN: 98, NT, 2000, ME, XP, Vista MS-DOS, Word, Excel, Access PCI, ISA, USB bus Controller/HA Experience Bus logic, Adaptec (2740) Ultrastor, Promise (Ultra ATA) SATA / PATA Interface LSI (Ultra 160 HA) Raid: (Ultra, Silicon Image) Other Skills Analog/Digital Oscilloscopes LAN/WAN TCP/IP Bus/Logic Analyzers Function Generators LCR/Impedance Meters Analog/Digital Multimeters ACAD, Solder, Compatibility testing
