Daily Duties at Rtkl:
• Attended monthly meetings with Partners to discuss current staffing needs, strategies for hiring, projects and budget issues. • Recruited for Architects, Landscape Architects, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Administrative staff members. • Obtained recruiting firms and negotiated fees/contracts for their services. • Advertised, interviewed, and performed reference checks for prospective employees. Advertising tools included newspapers, Internet, and employee referral program. • Monitored company website for incoming resumes and posted current openings. • Searched Internet websites for prospective employees/candidates for current openings. • Organized temporary staffing needs including obtaining personnel agency, negotiating rates and contracts, as well as training and overseeing of temporary employees. • Facilitated hiring process for staff by logging, tracking, and routing resumes to appropriate personnel. • Reviewed budgets/contracts/billings for allocations of new hires. • Facilitated in salary negotiations between candidates and hiring Managers. • Briefed new employees on company benefits, policies, and procedures. Ensured all policies and procedures were adhered to. Coordinated training & safety programs. Conducted entrance and exit interviews. • Ensured compliance with Department of Labor and other Federal/State laws. • Maintained Employee Information database through Microsoft Access. Maintained employee phone list.
