Daily Duties at General Mills/The Pillsbury Company:

Entered and managed the financial management database that tracked all money spent for divisional studies allocated against Research Budget. Calendar/meeting management, logistics for in-house/off-site meetings. Managed internal website that housed existing Consumer Research studies, gather timely and competitive information to sales force that helped increase sales. Gathered customer information & competitor profiles, keeping division aware of state and national trends. Coordinated workshop materials for new hires transferred employees, helping division processes and procedures in quick start program. Sole source for questions & direction to appropriate staff or departments. Managed projects for training and user manuals for new hire and training workshops, resulting in 100% user satisfaction with good time management. Arranged all logistics for sales training with the School of Baking at Dunwoody Institute. This allowed sales staff to gain key product information to share with customers. Performed financial, operational and competitive analysis for key customers, identifying strengths, weaknesses and opportunities and providing the sales force with information on areas needing attention. Provided Customer service support for the Sales force, including fielding questions, helping them to stay focused on their Sales responsibilities. Managed doughboy costume for National Team meetings, store openings and special events. Costume was delivered clean and in working condition for all events, increasing brand recognition. Implemented budget savings on telephone expenses for field employees by establishing a relationship with vendors and negotiating more cost effective communications. Established special calling cards for all field sales with a corporate rate used for traveling, online dial-up and customer calls. HR responsible for the National SUPERVALU Team: New Hires, terminations, promotions, relocation, salary administration, tracking vacation & benefits, fleet administration, ESCF & 1963 forms. Process travel & expense, presentations, region budget, invoices, calendar management, travel arrangements, trade entertainment for customers, SUPERVALU National volume tracking, database tracking, and quarterly newsletter, and coordinate/attend national team meetings. Tested/implemented software prior to companywide roll out, ensuring proper usage and consistency. Responded to user software questions. Served as Crisis Center coordinator for the Disaster Recovery Program (DRP) at Burger King Headquarters during Hurricane Andrew disaster. Facilitated and coordinated clothing, food, water, helicopters, and donations, helping get company up and running again.
