Daily Duties at Accenture:
Creating Package in SSIS for ETL processes. • Requirement gathering • Defining Business Requirement • Comprehending the trends in data warehousing (ITG 7.1 Implementation) • Analyze Physical Data Model to correctly mapped tables from Source to Target • Create a detail design(AP352) document for MSBI Offshore Developer • Creation of detail design is based on Structured Query Language (SQL) • Write SELECT queries to retrieve data • Group and summarize data by using Transact-SQL • Join data from multiple tables • Update detail design based on Business Key Decision • Perform Pre-UAT for reports develop in SSRS • Confirm report is develop according to design document Specification • logged defects in Report with Bug Tracker after Pre-UAT and Assigned to offshore developer for fixes • Retest Reports for Fixes • Create UAT Test Script • Manage reports using both the browser-based Report Manager and SQL Server Management Studio-based Report Manager • Secure reports using integrated security and SSL • Create complex reports employing expressions, the global collections, and conditional formatting • Create detail design reports with nested groups and multiple parameters • Employ report caching and create report snapshots
