Daily Duties at Fed Ex Freight Systems:
•Responsible for minimizing the corporation’s exposure to bad debt, and facilitating company cash flow through collection of accounts receivable •Research delinquent accounts and identify customer disputes to obtain resolution on receivables •Communicate status of marginal accounts to the Sales and Pricing teams •Recommend accounts for credit revocation and/or placement with outside collection agency when all internal collection efforts have been exhausted •Maintain concise account file records using Getpaid software and comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies/procedures •Obtain additional documents and information from customers and their Sales representative to resolve rate and pricing issues with rate auditors •Communicate specific customer needs to Invoicing Dept. for customer satisfaction and account resolution
