Daily Duties at Nordstrom:

• Consulted with managers on all Human Resource issues to effectively increase productivity and reach business objectives. Provided Employee relations support and guidance to managers and worked quickly to solve problems. • Ensured compliance with all state and federal employment laws. Supported organizational change by communicating change and answering employee’s’ questions. Worked closely with Compensation and Benefits administrators to ensure consistence application of all HR policies and practice. Conducted new hire orientation, and recruit internal and external candidates to fill positions. • Assist employees with benefit inquires, conduct exit interviews and ensure policy and compliance are adhered to. Managed the safety and risk concerns for the business unit including OSHA compliance.
