Daily Duties at Chong Partners Architecture:
• Worked directly with HR Director to align Human Resource strategy with business strategy. Initiated a retention plan to engage employees with various HR programs that included: mentorship, licensure assistance, tuition reimbursement and performance management enhancements. • Acquired a $250,000 ETP grant which funded the company’s training and development program, i.e., Chong University and decreased training cost by 100%. • Developed training program which promotes professional development and career advancement; curriculum included technical, professional, computer and leadership training. • Lead a task force to evaluate software tool to enhance performance management and the implementation of a web base performance management system including a 360˚review process. Developed criteria to select vendors, wrote RFP’s and evaluated contract proposals of selected vendors. • Communicate with mangers on a consistent basis to ensure HR support, guidance and to meet clients and business needs. Coached and council mangers on employee related issues. Provided HR support to offices in San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento and London with total employee population of 200. • Participated in all corporate staffing and recruitment efforts to fill open positions promptly while working with managers to define need and develop a recruiting plan for execution. Identify third-party vendors to assist in recruiting as needed and manage all relationships. • Provided market salary information to executive leaders to assist in the budgeting and distribution of merit increases. • Ensure HR compliance with federal and state regulations including HIPPA, FMLA, ERISA, EEO, ADA and COBRA. Conduct new hire orientation and exit interviews, administer benefits administration including vender relation, selection, annual open enrollment and wellness program.
