• Managed leave of absences including: disability, PFL, CFRA, FMLA workers compensation, and OSHA cases • Responsible for benefits administration duties including, student verification and eligibility, Medicare Part D regulations, COBRA enrollment, and working with employees to resolve any enrollment issues • Assisted HRIS in investigating system issues, run queries and completed audits to ensure the integrity of the data in People Soft • Calculated and submitted imputed income payroll forms for qualifying domestic partners • Conducted Benefits New Hire Orientation • Documented internal controls and procedures for SOX compliance and other audit requirements and requests • Monitored vesting, enrollment, and documentation for employees in Retiree Health Subsidy Plan • Administered tuition reimbursement program • Served as main point of contact for all COBRA related issues • Created and maintained COBRA cost file which is submitted to accounting for employees effected through resource actions • Assisted in organizing vendor open enrollment fairs for 3 different locations • Audited and processed vendor invoices for all benefits programs
