Daily Duties at U. S. Army:

• Supervised and controlled inbound/outbound traffic at Entry Control Point. • Implemented Anti-Terrorism measures to ensure post security. • Maintained elevated defensive postures while under extreme conditions. • Proficient on the use of X-Spray bomb detection and metal detectors. • Accountable for Soldiers’ welfare and readiness in addition to conducting monthly performance counseling. • Set up, operated, troubleshot, and maintained voice and data communications systems in support of a secure Wide Area Network Infrastructure. • Experienced in the set up and maintenance of Local Area and Digital Secure Network support. • Operated/maintained UHF radios, basebands, and group modems. • Provided flawless voice support to subscribers while ensuring link stability and outstanding customer service and support were performed. • Operated and maintained tactical phone switch. • Configured subscriber IP addresses. • Configured tactical Internet encryption device known as a Taclane. (Tactical Local Area Network) • Updated encryption data for transmit / receive signal that maintained secure network. • Prepared reports and briefed higher command on daily operations. • Supported over 400 Army Soldiers and Marines with secure voice and data access. • Subject manner expert for troubleshooting voice / data link to node center. • Responsible for the control and inventory of keys for over $15M in communications equipment. • Proven ability to adapt and meet deadlines in hazardous and stressful situations.
