Daily Duties at Qwest:

includes hardware and software, user and team training. I reviewed, created and updated store software installation procedures. I also provided direct team and client support during quarterly upgrades of both major and minor vendor releases Q360 software. Point of Contact for security related questions and projects within the organization. Communicate, monitor, and record the monthly Microsoft security patches on department servers. I also managed multiple Microsoft Windows and UNIX environments. This included the scheduling of environment upgrades, maintenance tasks, and hardware changes. I prepared the production support technical procedures and policies. This included production support, disaster recovery and installation producers. I was the Project Manager and Technical Lead for a critical application re-architect project. Our team changed the architecture of a windows client-server application which reduced the number of servers from 40 to 14 and relocated them into centralized data centers. The Project completed without down time to the client. I provided upper management with a business case for the replacement of our proprietary ordering system. It reached its end of Lifecycle. Member of the UNIX support team that provides 24/7 support for all customer and client ordering systems.
