Daily Duties at Cash Edge, Inc.:

Responsible for supervising 3 offshore and one local QA organization and coordinating all QA activities for 60 QA engineers in an agile development environment producing and maintaining a suite of hosted financial applications transferring over $38 Billion per year for all the top tier banks and brokerage houses. • Maintain a monthly release schedule for maintenance and introduction of new functionality for individual partners and clients. Releases may contain up to 17 separate projects. • Coordinate QA activities with other departments such as Client Integration, Customer Support, Operations and Release Management. • Produce and publish QA metrics for all stakeholders • Supported development of rapid deployment tools to enable non-technical resources and client users to make property changes to the applications without the need of a server restart, instituted the creation of standardized “homes” which could be cloned to create new client environments within one day. • Provide QA Engineers to projects on a 24 x7 basis utilizing offshore and onshore resources to maintain coverage. Offshore departments in Delhi and Chennai as well as contract QA and Development Engineering in Beijing. • Grew the QA Department from 25 to 60 in one year and established training guidelines and specialty disciplines for specific needs. • Maintain automated regression coverage of all applications using a data driven test engine. Distributed automation test training throughout the team in order to push automation as far up the development chain as possible.
