Daily Duties at Pay Pal:
Responsible for supervising 2 offshore and one local QA organization and coordinating all QA activities for 3 product groups in a structured development environment utilizing agile methodologies improving and maintaining PayPal’s secure money transfer application. PayPal has 57 million active accounts and its net total payment volume was $47 billion. • Coordinate functional and new product releases within the EBay/PayPal/Skype product family. • Schedule and staff QA activities with other departments such as Development Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing and Release Management. • Maintain QA statistics for all product features under development and maintenance • Ensure schedules are met utilizing resources in Chennai, Phoenix and San Jose adhering to the constraints of PayPal’s release process. • Projected staffing needs and maintained resource levels based on structured estimation models. Utilized pipeline resources as buffer. • Increased automated regression coverage 25% above target levels and raised automation bug find rate 50% above target levels to exceed yearly goals
