Daily Duties at Beckman Coulter:
• Gather and investigate user requirements from business for the upgrade from an Access database to Maximo 6.0 • Identify and resolve business problems and application issues • Analyze, map, and resolve business processes (current/future state) • Design and develop Actuate reports • Configuration of Maximo 6.0 system to fit business requirements including application customization and database configuration • Work with infrastructure and database group to fulfill system requirements • Develop the data mapping for conversion from Access to an Oracle-based Maximo • Used the following modules: Administration, Assets, Configuration, Contracts, Inventory, Planning, Preventive Maintenance, Purchasing, Reporting, Resources, Safety, Security, and Work Orders • Investigated the use of all modules and different versions as part of the business requirements analysis • Documentation of requirements and system, document and run change management • Assisted with deployment of Kaidara • Worked with the business to redesign security for Kaidara and Maximo • Create use cases and test scripts • Established standards of application usage as an enterprise system • Analyze value add of any system changes against strategic business objectives • Managed subcontractors for additional work including an offsite data migration team • Identify, document, prioritize, and escalate issues
