Daily Duties at Vertis Inc, Formerly American Color Graphics:
Serve as strategic partner on the customer service team for 3rd largest national printing company with 10 locations located in the United States and Canada. Directly responsible for coordinating the production of printed materials for multiple customers. Serving as customer liaison through partnership with various inter-company departments, i.e. scheduling, digital pre-press, production, bindery, shipping, etc. Conferred with customers throughout production, keeping them informed of the status of the job, soliciting and resolving inquiries and complaints, obtaining approval of materials; such as artwork, color separations, ink samples and proofs. Serve as voice of customer while maintaining fine balance of acting in the customer’s best interest, serving as a liaison and advocate while simultaneously protecting the company’s interest.
