Extensive knowledge of management information systems, cost accounting, and performance measurement reduced operating budget requirements by 35% over a three-year period. - Executed $10 million in service and other support contracts per year. - Contracted/managed relocation of personal effects for 9,000 households per year. - Managed restaurant operations serving 2000 meals per day. - Established public-private venture to initiate base housing upgrades saving $20 million. - Shipped over 70 flatbed mega-watt generators by rail to offset Connecticut power shortage during nuclear plant shut-down. Provided sell-back of over $10 million in energy costs. - Established the first base-wide network infrastructure to manage accounting and budget functions. - Partnered with local community leaders to fight base closure under the BRAC Commission. - Planned and managed two consecutive reduction-in-force efforts during a recession. - Initiated and managed a base-wide A-76 commercial outsourcing study. - Developed first operational prioritized cost accounting system for U.S. Navy.
