Daily Duties at Garmin International:
Successfully managed coop advertising and volume rebate programs for five GPS product lines while increasing efficiency, accuracy, and updating the overall blueprint for the position. Processed over 3,000 coop advertising claims, special deals, and volume rebates annually Educated and trained dealers to use all programs. The coop program has helped lead to participating dealer sales increases of between 10 & 15% over the last two years. Worked with sales team and finance department to ensure financing for special promotions were processed quickly and correctly, limiting the redo handling to less than 1% and reducing total processing time by 30%. Developed an electronic records management system for files and internal spreadsheets to ease communication of programs between sales, finance, and Garmin dealers Created training guidelines to efficiently and quickly prepare temporary and future employees to perform the position requirements. Consulted with Communications dept regarding which product to order for various POP displays.
