Progressed through multiple positions of increasing authority, including: Local Sort and Preload Operation Supervisor, Loader/Unloader, Sorter, and Driver Help. Built a solid foundation of operation management, manpower allocation, customer service, quality, and financial responsibility. Managed day-to-day operations for the Wilkes-Barre Local Sort and Preload. Responsible for operational planning and associate training, performance, and safety. Results •Managed five to ten associates on the Local Sort and ten to fifteen associates on the Preload •Fostered a teamwork environment that focused on production, quality, and safety •Obtain 15,000 safe working days on the Local Sort •Conducted conveyor secure and Hazmat compliance: Responsible for myself and my associates for understanding the importance of safety and government regulations
