Daily Duties at Logistics Management Solution:
Assigned to the BASF Chemical account. Managed transportation routing and optimization for multiple 3rd party warehouses for BASF Chemical. Responsible and accountable for the operational planning of transportation in Louisiana and Ohio for BASF Chemical. Provides load planning and scheduling for LTL, Truckload, intermodal, and export container shipments using SAP for the warehouses. Responsible for minimizing transportation costs through consolidating truckload shipments, intermodal shipments, and finding low-cost carriers on all lanes. Responsible for maintaining on-time shipment pick-up and delivery for customers and BASF Chemical. Implemented outbound logistics and transportation processes to new warehouse facilities for BASF Chemical. Conducted cost analysis to optimize transportation cost for BASF Chemical by using a pricing matrix. Networked with other planners to minimize transportation costs through truckload consolidations. Operational Improvements •Eliminated $700K of transportation costs for BASF Chemical by optimizing routing through truckload consolidations, increasing intermodal shipments, and tracking preferred carrier service •Achieved a 96% on-time delivery accuracy •Achieved a 99% customer satisfaction from BASF Chemical •Implemented outbound logistics and transportation processes to new warehouses facilities
