Daily Duties at Nelson Staffing, Onsite At Sony Computer Entertainment America:

• Liaison between Nelson Staffing and Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) First Party Quality Assurance (FPQA) management, employees, and all staffing suppliers for issues related to the FPQA Contingent Workforce (CW) hiring process. • Manage the requisition process and applicant flow: assist with sourcing, screening, and Identifying candidates, fill all FPQA requisitions, create assignments, gain security access for CW, close assignments and create replacement requisitions when needed. • Assist with Employee Relations investigations. • Create and maintain break in service tracking system for all FPQA CW. • Process payroll on a regular basis, including tracking and maintaining discrepancies in bill rates, pay rates and incorrect time billed. • Answer CW questions regarding application forms, timecard procedure, payment processes, benefit policies, etc. • Troubleshoot and respond to all client manager and CW questions and issues in a timely manner. • Negotiate raises for all eligible CW – alert SCEA management, get HR approval, and hold monthly raise meetings with SCEA managers and CW. • Created an Excel spreadsheet tracking system for all Contingent Workforce time worked and mandatory time needed off. • Conduct monthly meetings with all CW • Organize and plan appreciation events including catered meals and prize giveaways • Counsel employees about attendance, performance and personal issues • Maintain daily attendance records, requests for time off and security access for 180 + employees • Conduct New Hire orientations and Workforce Logic (Proprietary HRIS system) training
