Daily Duties at Small Business Development Center:
Responsible for client consultation sessions and preparation of complete business plans. Created business plan narratives that identified a clear and concise strategic vision of the client’s business venture. Conducted market, industry, and strategic research and analysis for clients using various databases, libraries, and internet resources. Prepared and performed financial analysis against industry standards on pro forma cash flow statements, income statements, and balance sheets for clients to determine profitability. Collaborated with other business consultants on client meetings, business plans, and financial analysis. Attended economic development and commercialization conferences throughout northeastern Pennsylvania. Results •Consulted 20+ clients and completed 15 business plans •Logged 408 hours of research and client contact time •Secured $500K of financing for business owners •Launched 3 new businesses in 2008
