Daily Duties at Unep Grid:
Visiting Scientist(Since January16, 2007) United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) office located at the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Center for EROS in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA. • Study of the impact of December 26, 2004 tsunami on the mangrove forests of the affected areas. • Prepare geodatabase and making maps for mangrove atlas. • Working with remote sensing data and GIS tools to prepare maps. • Analyze data and to prepare report.
