Daily Duties at Intel Corp:

1> Line-Echo-Canceller designed herein onto Texas-Instrs C64x platform for usage by ICG-NBD division in their products. (1) Optimized to reduce MIPS, Prog-Memory on C64x. (2) Advanced echo-peak-location algorithms for upto 128msec cancellation. Haar-Transform, Cross-correlation based peak-locators were simulated/implemented. 2> Owner of fixed-point Voice-Echo-Canceller c/dsp-code. Designed complex Signal processing algorithms (Normalized-LMS, Affine-Projection). Designed efficient Double-Talk-Detection, Comfort-Noise-Generation algorithms. This ECAN got high Ratings in testing by **independent testing labs in British-Telecom and AT&T**. Worked on highly efficient assembly-programs for implementing ECAN on proprietary DSP processor. This ECAN obtained "carrier certification". 3> Team-lead to optimally port licensed ITU V.17, V.27, V.29 data-modem & fax-modem c-code into VxTel's proprietary Algorithm-Signal-Processor. Implemented ways to reduce MIPS, DMA transfers, global memory required to implement algorithm. Field-deployed and validated. 4> Team-lead to optimally port G.729A, G.729B ITU voice codec implementations on VxTel's processor to reduce MIPS, Memory profiles while maintaining bit-exactness. Awarded Resulted in design-win and revenue for product. Field deployment and validation. 5> Analysis of tradeoffs in implementing ITU V.92, V.90, V.34 data modem algorithms and complex modem protocols on proprietary media signal processor. Trained team in Bangalore, India on modem-algorithms, modem-protocols, modem-signal-processing and implementation on VxTel's proprietary media signal processor.
