Daily Duties at Construction :
· Supervised the day-t-day operations of the Atlanta office; a 63-year-old construction company privately owned headquartered in Fairfax, VA. · Reported directly to the Executive Vice President in charge of the Atlanta office. · Distribution of construction plans and specifications to subcontractors for bid, wrote invitations to bid letter, wrote change orders and subcontracts, and maintained the Request for Information (RFI), change orders and submittal logs. · Maintained the functions of the office including ordering supplies, buying office equipment, making travel arrangements, orientation of new employees including instruction of the office phone and security systems and a variety of office equipment. · Renewed the business license on an annual basis. · Wrote the manual checks and managed $5,000 petty cash. · Checked the AIA request for payment to the owner. · Checked codes and approved all overhead invoices. · Registered new vehicles with the MVD and applied for prestige tags for each new vehicle. · Organized client luncheons and gold tournaments with HITT upper management
