Daily Duties at American Paper And Plastics, Inc.:
Responsibilities; total of 78 employees (6 supervisors, 4 leadmen, 22 drivers, 36 warehouse employees). Hire, train, and ensure all employees are to OSHA standard for lift truck operations. (Train the Trainer program) Hire, train and educate all Class C, & Class A drivers for company performance standards. Oversee the daily routing of 22 trucks and their delivery stops. Negotiate all LTL and TL common carrier contracts as well as Intermodal. Oversee daily warehouse operations, cycle counting, physical inventory. Eensure that all company procedures and policies are enforced and adhered to. Participate in the negotiations for the purchase and/or lease for all trucks and warehouse lift trucks. –> Implemented Proscan/Redpoint WMS RF system
