Daily Duties at Com Dev Usa:
Responsible for providing configuration management and data management support for multiple aerospace programs. - Lead and manage a group of four CM/DM employees. - Plan, develop, and execute configuration and data management processes and procedures. - Perform internal audits to ensure configuration and data management processes for hardware and software are implemented and meet AS9100 and ISO9000 requirements. - Serve as the focal point for customer and supplier communications regarding configuration and data management plans, audit results and program status. - Responsible for updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) in the Oracle database. - Responsible for delivering hardware and software documentation to the customer via Boeing web portal. - Facilitate bi-weekly change control boards (CCBs) for multiple and diverse programs. - Responsible for developing CM/DM databases using FileMaker Pro v.9. - Evaluate audit findings and corrective actions plans for configuration and data management. - Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with all Import/Export/ITAR regulations for technical data submitted to customers and suppliers. - Provide training to project engineering staff on configuration and data management tools and processes. - Review and approve hardware drawings, software code, and documentation prior to release. - Participated in AS9100 and ISO9000 external audits.
