Daily Duties at North Shore Hospital:

• Cleaning of patient rooms, exam rooms, O.R. suites, offices, public areas, elevators and stairwells. • Floor care: Stripping, waxing, carpet shampoo, furniture cleaning, using floor machines, buffers, scrubbers and wet vacuums. • Maintain clean and safe work environment. • Perform cleaning and sanitizing of hospital areas. • Responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties within the hospital to include patient and non-patient areas. • Uses cleaning devices, products, supplies and equipment to perform job. Removes trash and linen from the facility.
