Daily Duties at Verizon:
Managed Phoenix program for 500+ resources to ensure timely ordering and disposition of capital equipment Tracked and paid contractor invoices for several vendors Created and maintained PowerPoint organizational chart for 1000+ resources Assisted Process Specialist with weekly reports for the Vice President and President of IT Assisted employees with HR inquiries including vacation, pension and short-term disability Monitored time entries for 500+ resources to ensure time was reported to current projects Elected to edit nominations and coach nominators for the Verizon Excellence Awards Assigned and tracked seating for 500+ resources to ensure the best seating arrangements and compliance with building codes Alternate for the building-wide space planner consisting of assigning and tracking seating for a 6-story building, monitoring security badge access, people and equipment moves and building clean-up projects Floor Warden for the Emergency Response Team including educating the floor on fire and shelter-in-place safety and conducting drills In 2003, created a new process for paying contractor invoices resulting in 100% payment/accrual by year-end deadline. In 2007, implemented new process for Phoenix program resulting in 100% ordering/delivery of equipment needed to help ensure timely release of project deliverables.
