Daily Duties at Saic:

- Supervise and manage a team of two trainers responsible for training over 1000 training sessions/year -- Maintain time cards, provide weekly/monthly status reports, schedule training events, guide development of new tools for users and training strategies for new Operating Systems and applications - Lead development of an “all-in-one” accounts request form through all PA RSC-K websites - Provide Tier 1/2 Trusted Solaris 8 systems administration assistance on DoDIIS Trusted Workstation (DTW), Windows 2003 Servers, Multi-Media Messenger (M3/AMHS), Pathfinder, and Information Workspace (IWS) servers; register and reset user accounts, remote assistance of user profiles/queries - Provide on-the-spot tier 1/2 support for major Command Post Exercises -- Requested by name to train USFJ PASS-J personnel during Exercise Keen Edge 2004 in Japan - Requested by name to conduct training at the DIAC and Washington Naval Shipyard - Provide systems training on applications resident on the PA RSC-K networks to local users in Native Language and English to users on M3/AMHS, IWS, DTW, and DTW Relabeler, Remote Dsktop access to include; printer setup and mapping networked drives -- Conducted first ever training on extended reach enterprise concept of DTW at Ft. Hood and DIA and laid the groundwork for "true" integrated enterprise connectivity on multi-domain thin client access to National intelligence information collaboration on a Sunray connectivity concept determined unattainable by Sun Micro systems -- Composed a technical users manual for the 3.2 and 3.4 versions of Trusted SOLARIS for use at multiple sites throughout the United States in both English and Local User Language -- Develop and update user training manuals Trusted Solaris based DTW Desktop and associated system applications, to include the TSC Relabeler - Provided technical support to J2 Management Information Systems Operations (MISO) during a manning shortage to locate, identify, update, and patch classified laptop OS - Successfully presented a proposal to upgrade the current training facility and guided the evolution of the facility to a state-of-the-art facility -- Developed, planned, and designed a state-of-the-art Intelligence Information Technology Training Facility worth over $250,000 expanding training capability of the PA RSC to local and state side users -- Managed the progress of the project, kept the program moving in the right direction in order to complete with minimal delays and expenses. -- Conduct remote training via POLYCOM and Desktop VTC saving the government, the company, and the tax payer’s travel related expenses over secure networks -- Facility provides capability to support Intelligence Mobile Training Teams to train at security levels ranging from Unclassified to Top Secret in a controlled domain environment - Provide in-depth analysis of system issues that arise during training sessions and coordinate the corrective action with Customer Support and Systems Administration team members
