IBM AIS Portals, Content, & e-Commerce 9-06 – 8-07 Associate Partner / Project Manager Member of the IBM Portals sales management team assigned to the Public Sector. My highest priority task was Building the Internal IBM Public Sector presence for the PCE department. I made our department a resource and repaired reputation. • Customer base of internal GBS partners, formed advertise campaign and developed a base of steady customers. Provided Portal sales assistance to GBS teams requesting help from the Portals, Content Management, & e-Commerce group. The customer base included a significant percentage of SAP implementations where SAP interfaced to Portal. • Attended meetings with the customers, engineering teams, and upper management concerning the management and methodologies that were to be employed to will the contracts. Created with my teams SOW, RFI/RFP, Roadmaps Project Plans, Design Documents following the RUP methodology when practical. Managed Process & Integration Architects performing initial RFI/RFP work to the complete SDLC involving WebSphere Portal and IBM partner products. Recommended integration patterns for customers. • Managed PCE Portal Architect teams Held meetings with the customer & team to determine business objectives and success factors, leading to Business Process Management. A roadmap of work with design plans and an all encompassing project plan. We designed complete end to end data security based solutions utilizing the latest IBM System (RACF, Tiviloi, Hardware/Software PKI/RSA) technology. We produced documentation (Run Book) consisting of initial meeting notes & a recommendation, the roadmap leading to success for the project, a SOW or an Implementation plan outlining our next and future expectations and list of deliverables & asset’s with the risk factors & ROI of the project. After the project evaluation, the project was sent to SAP or Filenet group to finish providing the required support. • Management of projects assigned by sales team leader. With complete Security compliance, and RUP methods following SDLC and qualifying and perusing new opportunities as they become available that involve Portal technology. The teams managed, produced a wide range of deliverable objects to the customers, WebSphere Portal architecture, Middleware Integration, Site plans, management requirements, Roadmaps, Project plans, SOW,s RFI/RFP responses, Training documentation, White Papers.
