As Chief Operations Officer, managed a highly-visible and multi-faceted role, overseeing all aspects of operations: manufacturing, human resources, finance/accounting, IT, technical support, building facilities, quality assurance, process engineering, legal, sales, OEM sales, business development and partner relationships. Led immediate goal of revitalizing operational infrastructure and defining new strategic decisions affecting operational capabilities, business development and marketplace possitioning to establish a new platform for sustainable business growth. Formulated and executed annual business plans, increasing sales by 18% to 22% year-to-year, while realizing a 20% increase in operating income, as a percentage of sales. Also, initiated a direct sales focus to complement the traditional channel model, thus driving a 12 - 15% average increase in enterprise-type customers, while also growing services revenue more than fourfold to $25M, through the implementation of an upgrade support program and additional professional services offerings. Delivered $35M in global annual sales through the cultivation of new strategic alliances and the expansion of existing partnerships with large-scale content management organizations and systems integrators; also, expanded OEM sales, on a worldwide basis, more than 20% annually.
