Daily Duties at Geonex/Martel:
Project Manager and staff supervisor workin on the National Wetlands Inventory. Managed and coordinated the production National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The inventory and mapping process included field investigations identifying dominant vegetation, landforms, drainage patterns and soils for wetland systems throughout the United States. I have conducted wetland habitat assessments and produced NWI maps in the following areas of the United States: Alabama, Texas, Florida, North Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, South Carolina and Kansas. As a project manager, I was responsible for planning field trips and insuring final map production was completed on time and under budget.
