Daily Duties at Tyco Electronics:

Conducted environmental and electrical testing on wires and complex mult-core cables. I interacted with the engineering to disposition all discrepant material. I prepared test result reports to accompany orders. I also trained and certified all incoming operators. It was also my responsibility to maintain calibration on all laboratory equipment and to ensure that the lab as a whole was in compliance with ISO regulations. I was a member of the safety committee for over 8 years where I was interactive with a team focused on employee safety, chemical handling for compliance with OSHA standard and regulations and also employee response during evacuations etc.

You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social.
