ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR AND SENIOR ACCOUNTANT National Stores (Fallas Paredes), Gardena, CA: Robert Half Staffing (agency) ·Supervised an accounting team of 5. ·Posted journals to the general ledger, with account analysis at month-end. ·Prepared the annual budget spread sheets and companion analyses to the CFO for review. ·Provided timely and accurate financial and accounting operations reports. ·Monitored cash inflows and outflows, including maintenance of daily cash position report. Hotel Casa Del Mar, Santa Monica, CA: Zimmerman and Associates (agency) ·Accounts receivable, which included substantial collection duties. ·Prepared financial statements, income statements and balance sheet analysis for several books. ·Performed account analysis and bank reconciliations, i.e. disbursement, payroll & purchase card. ·Reconciled and reviewed all balance sheet and P&L accounts in preparation for closing. ·Posted month-end & adjusting journals and reconciled all G/L accounts to the trial balance.
