SENIOR ACCOUNTANT & SYSTEM CONVERSION CONSULTANT Splash News – Venice, CA: Ryan Miller & Associates (agency) ·Assisting with their 2008 year-end clean-up. ·Posting journals, reconciling bank statements. ·Assisting with system conversion process. ·Reconciled P&L and balance sheet accounts Consulting Engagement, 3-month assignment ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE CONVERSION CONSULTANT GAA Architects Inc – Irvine, CA: (On my own) ·Led the execution of a system conversion process from Quickbooks Pro to Deltek Vision. ·Provided detailed analysis and recommendations on transfer approaches tailored to the client. ·Reconciled ending balances from old system to history load into the new system. ·Verified financial statements to ensure proper carry-over of asset value, liability & equity. ·Recommended appropriate methods, according to GAAP, of revenue recognition in the setup. ·Trained accounting team and management on project set-up, running reports & A/P processing. ·Assisted with troubleshooting systems problems and responded to technical questions.
