As a Senior Bookkeeper, my duties are: Payroll: •processed of bi-weekly payroll, multi states: MD, PA, and VA •check payroll for accuracy •distributed and sorted payroll checks •entered manual payroll checks •placed stop or void payments on payroll checks if necessary •generated bi-weekly reports for payroll reconciliation •generated reports from ReportSmith •distributed and reconciled W-2's in a timely manner •assisted HR Manager with new hire and medical benefits •resolved any issues regarding employee payroll checks or accounting issues •maintained confidential •941 Reconciliation (Quarterly) Accounts Payable: •prepared garnishments' checks for child support •weekly check printing •calculated employer's/employee’s match for 401K plan •posting of invoices •posting of petty cash for local and counties •replenished company petty cash as needed Accounts Receivables: •monthly collections •monthly billing for Daycare (child and Adult), Title III, and Congregate meals •posting of daily cash receipts •bank reconciliation •reconciled G/L's •monthly journal entries
