- Project Engineer – P 131 third and fourth door latching systems - Project Engineer – UPN 150 South American Ranger front and rear doors latching systems - Project Engineer – System integration responsibility for PN 150 side access panel hardware design - Project Engineer – System Engineer responsibility for PN96 Program – front and third door latching systems design including application of power actuators; PERFORMING: -Technical Liaison with customers; FSS and System Integration -Component sources (Tier 2 suppliers & contact personnel) -Component/System target and actual cost analysis -Timeline for entire program -Design, prototyping and testing coordination -Component/System weight targets and actuals -Patent infringements and disclosures -Design analysis - FMVSS Inertia Calculations - Kinematic and Dynamic Analysis - System dimensional variation analysis (tolerance stacks) - Competitive analysis - Bench Marking - Spring design analysis - Material strength calculations - Reliability analysis - System travels & efforts calculations and analysis - Failure mode analysis - Design failure mode & effect analysis - Process failure mode & effect analysis - CAD operation for parts redesign and studies -Design verification plan & report; -Applicable federal and/or Canadian and/or European requirements analysis -Customer change notices, Dortec Engineering change notices, drawing releases, WERS (World Wide Engineering Release System); -Engineering material specifications -Design of experiment -Component/system design, development and verification plans with timing; -Work plans and 8D-s (eight discipline); -Component/System bill of materials and program parts list; -Quality operating system (QOS) – plotted measurables;
