- Jan - Sept 2001 - Specialty Vehicle Engineering; GM and DaimlerChrysler Programs - Monte Carlo, Impala, Regal, Dodge Dakota, Intrepid and PT Cruiser - sport packages. - January to December 2000 – joined General Motors group – working on GMT800 running board systems (Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Denali, Cadillac Escalade). Developed innovative running board attaching method using pre-tension hook design. Awarded by Decoma’s “Ideas in Motion” Program. USA and Canada Patent Application by Magna Patent Office. Application # PCT/CA02/00203. - August to December 1999 – joined DaimlerChrysler group to work on SJ program developing running board system for the Jeep Commander SUV. Worked on DN and AN-84 running board systems (Durango and Dodge Dakota). Accomplished forty hours of CATIA training (3-D basic design); - Product Development Engineer – Ford’s P 205 soft/hard top development (Ford Ranger), UN93/173 running boards system development in FSS environment (Expedition and Navigator), U222/8 running board system development, U228 automated running board system design and engineering (Navigator power liftgate and power running board package). Developed unique joint for 3.0 mm TPO Material used for running board covers (allowing for modular design of running boards for different length of the same family vehicles);
