New Product Development Supervisor/Project Manager – Power Closure Systems: Power Trunk (US patent # 7,137,174 B2 “Activating Mechanism for Closures with Four- Link Hinges”), Power Lift-Gate, Power Sliding Door, Cinch Latches and Power Actuators (release and lock/unlock actuators for power closures and power seats). - visiting Japan and learning company’s product, technologies and manufacturing capabilities - presenting new products to different OEMs in order to win the business - taking part in Design Competitions - working with Design Engineers to package systems and components for technical reviews - analyzing existing US patents on Power Closures and working on new ideas in that field;
