Daily Duties at Prestige Office Products, Inc:
Managed all purchasing of 30,000 items for next day delivery to customers including special order items and furniture while improving margins and maximizing vendor rebates. Supervised warehouse staff in shipping/receiving of products, order filling, order packing and inventory cycle counting. Coordinated all inbound and out bound shipments utilizing POP delivery fleet, common carriers and UPS. Supervised return department for both customer and vendor returns.Developed and managed bid department responding to and winning hundreds of bids/RFQs per year. Negotiated with vendors for better pricing, rebates and catalog marketing funds. Managed entire inventory/customer database including all pricing updates, management report writing and software issues. Customer service lead for largest customer responding to all special requests and return of merchandise.
