Repair and maintenance through the use of shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc, oxyacetylene welding and sheet metal fabrication. Equipping mobile bases with electrical and plumbing elements. Movement of three ton trucks and heavy equipment. Operating heavy equipment in conjunction with construction related tasks. I received several medals. The most prestigious of which was my Navy Achievement Medal for meeting and exceeding standards set forth for a complete refurbishment of all berthing facilities.I qualified under military standards 248 to socket weld steam piping up to 2inch iron pipe size. I was trained to weld aluminum plate, light gauge sheet metal, low carbon and low alloy steel plate and pipe; making emergency repairs to boilers, and to silver braze copper nickel piping.

What they like about United States Navy:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
