Daily Duties at Care Spring I.E. Shawneee Springs Of Harrison, Ohio:
Electronic charting (ECS) for Rehab and Skilled Residents. I work in a Rehab unit and I also am responsible for the Skilled Unit on Night Shift. Duties also include MAR/TAR change overs.Coding Accu Check machines.Medication administration, wound treatments,Vitals monitored and taken Q Shift for all Rehab Residents.Emergency medical decisions and communication with Doctors is a vital role. Shift reports for on-coming Nurses and follow-ups are another vital role for Contiunity of Care. Lab orders updates via lab software. Taking new orders off and follow up information to MAR/TAR and report sheet. Fall intervention checks and cleaning and stocking med carts and treatment carts for first shift.

Experienced in Assisted Living. I enjoy communicating with Families and Doctors. I enjoy the setting of Assited Living because the Reisdents are a delight to work with.At my prior position, our company went thru a bad period of transition. We went thru six Director of Wellness personell in less than nine months, at this point I became the Interim Director of Wellness. It was an opportunity for me to learn the aspects of budgeting, labor hour requirements, and how the Marketing Department functions along with censes requirements. I did external assessmwnts for Residents who were recently hospitalized,and for potential new Residents. I was required to set up and manage a monthly scedule for the Nursing Department staff.
