Daily Duties at Alphagraphics:

Graphic Designer/Production Artist • Design, format and produce artwork for various materials – i.e.: brochures, business cards, flyers, security pads, etc. • Production work – typesetting, proofing, set up printers (Cannon 1120 Color laser copier, Cannon Image Runner 600, Cannon Image Runner 330S, Cannon Image Runner 3500 and Accel-A-Writer 3n Adobe PostScript printer, Twin Tower, PC) for digital output and direct-to-plate processing. • Operations equipment – electric cutter, shrink wrapper, hole punch, spiral binder. • PrintSmith – software for creating estimates and jobs. • Validate professionals for security pads through on-line software. • Software – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Microsoft Word, Acrobat, Flightcheck, Toast Lite, Font Reserve. • Duties required the ability to communicate effectively with customers on a daily basis either on the phone or in person, handling concerns and establishing good rapport.
