Product Manager Responsible for developing, marketing of Sirsi's new digital media archive server called Digital Heritage Room® Set the specifications for the product, work with the software development group, determine software bundling, set pricing, press releases, sales group support material, determine markets Create partnerships with 3rd party scanning service bureaus, and develop product contracts Software Consultant Responsible for providing support for Sirsi's Hyperion® and Rooms® products throughout North America Led 3-day workshops for both products to customers prior to the use of either of these software packages Facilitated the library staff on setting metadata standards, hierarchy structure, timelines, hardware and network standards, and process workflows Provided a report to the library within one week after the workshop, to guide them on their endeavors Gave 1-day workshops to attendees of regional and national conferences throughout the U.S. and Canada. Responsible for bulk loading customer data from there database to their new Hyperion® Digital Archive server. Regional Sales Manager Sell library automation software to public and academic libraries Developed a list of potential customers and created a marketing strategy for each library Performed sales calls and demonstrations and answered technical questions Developed and negotiated the contracts
