Daily Duties at Oak Creek Ranch School:
Maintained a friendly, professional tone at all times, since I was responsible for the first impression a family would have of the school Answered all e-mail and telephone inquiries Prepared all files for incoming students Responsible for collecting all pertinent data and completed paperwork for incoming students Conducted tours of the school for parents of prospective students Evaluated information submitted for applicants and made judgments as to the appropriateness of the school to meet individual student needs Advised the Dean of Students for resident hall placement of new students Advised the Headmaster as to the interests of incoming students Advised the Headmaster as to the potential effect of daily operations on retention and/or admissions Gave advertising team accurate input as to volume, source, and conversion of inquiries to enrollments Proofread and gave input on web site content so that it accurately reflected the concerns of the majority of inquiries Advised the CFO on tuition rates as it might affect enrollment Assisted in coaching of basketball and golf Counseled and advised individuals and small groups of students on such issues as personal problems, educational objectives, and social and recreational activities Visited educational consultants and had them come to the school Visited other schools and had their representatives come to Oak Creek Assisted in the planning and execution of orientation activities Instrumental in implementing changes in parts of the student handbook as it affected admission and retention Instrumental in initiating a twice a year parental survey Maintained contact with graduates
