Daily Duties at Westerm Wheel A Division Of Kelsy Hayes:

Turn around of after market wheels division. After 3 merger aquistions at that time Rockwell to Kelsy, the company had lost its entrepeneurial edge that had made them the top after market wheel company. I focused on the Fashion aspect of wheel sales. Working closely with the wheel Design egineers to create new styles including a wheel for Goodyears Then new 18 inch tire. Identifed the need to move 3,000,000 dollars of take bakes from distributors. The fashion colors of the day were hot pink,Lime Green and Turquoise/ By Painting them and reintroducing the design at the SEMA show that year. Stock was reduced by 50% in 30 days. I called on dealers and listned to their complaints and solved their problems this resulted in pull through rathern then Push. The Parent company missed a junk bond payment and was forced to sell quickly to Varity Corp/ The after market divison was closed and I did not get to see the full effect of a great begining.
