SP / AIX Specialist at IBM Boulder (2000 – 2005) • Performed all SP / AIX installations, customizations, upgrades, and scripts for automating installations, on six large-scale projects, with teams ranging from five to ten members. • Increased efficiencies in processing speed, functionality, and / or accuracy of data for clients. • Ensured all operating system hardware and software interfaced correctly with related applications, including: airline system data, GIS mapping systems, and weather prediction and modeling systems. SP / AIX Specialist at Livermore Labs (Sep 1996 – Sep 2000) • Supported five SP2 parallel processor systems with 2000 processors and a 100 TB SSA RAID array system. • Technical interface between the lab and IBM R&D lab in implementing state of the art hardware / software. SP / AIX Specialist at IBM Albuquerque (Sep 1996 – Sep 2000) • SP / AIX Specialist in successful benchmark of Oracle Parallel Server database on the SP2 platform for a major telecommunications customer. • Oversaw aspects of planning, design, implementation / installation, and support on all projects. • Provided expertise in networking, problem determination and resolution, and maintained an interface to IBM development labs for addressing customer hardware and software requirements
